Who’s in control: us or AI?
This poster confronts the growing dependency between humans and AI: Are we still the ones in control, or have we handed over the reins? To what extent have we become so addicted and dependent that we can no longer function without its presence? The title borrows from the well-known keyboard shortcut used to interrupt or reset a computer, serving as a metaphor for the growing loss of autonomy. CTRL stands for control lost, ALT for altered identity and DEL for the threat of erasure.
A man is depicted in a confined pose, leaning forward with his hands bound by threads—symbolizing dependency and a loss of control. The threads, connected to each of his fingers like a puppeteer’s strings, suggest he is no longer acting on his own will. His posture conveys stress and helplessness. A cable connected to his head emphasizes his deep reliance on AI. The visual, paired with the title, challenges the viewer to consider who—or what—is truly in charge.
