Looking at the Positive Side
Inspired by the great photography of Studio Soup and George Mayer, I noticed something peculiar about the way this model chooses to stare at us. Only one eye is revealed, the other covered, why is that? That is how I came up with the idea of these series, turning the colored photos into black and white, enhancing the positive direction she looks at— with the red color that covers her gaze.
Does the red color stand for the negative side one doesn't want to reveal? Is it the dangerous direction? You choose.
